Shooting it: Hairmake shoot at Mayakan

Intro

Another strobist shot from the cool abandoned hotel located in Kobe, called Mayakan! It’s one of the locations I’ve been no idea how many times, and I still enjoy going for a photoshoot! For this shot I’m there with my friends hair-makeup artists! I’m using my old and trusted 80×60 and 90×20 softboxes as my lights in the photo! 

この撮影のロケ地は神戸の有名な廃墟、マヤカンです！今までに一番よく撮影してたロケーションのひとつです！この撮影ではそのときによく使ってたソフトボックスにクリップオンストロボ入れて撮影しています！またしたの説明見てくださいね！

Gear

Camera is Canon 5D Mark II nothing much to say about it! The lens is Canon 135mm F/2 USM

Strobe – I am using 2 lights for this shot, the flashes are Canon580 EXII and Nikon SB-26, I’ve been using them quite a lot at that time!  

Modifiers – My modifiers for this shoot are  80×60 Gridded Softbox, and a 90×20 Gridded Softbox! 

Triggers – at that time I was using Pocket Wizard II Plus triggers!

アクセサリーは80×60のグリッド付ソフトボックス、90×20のグリッド付ソフトボックスです！いまだにロケでよく使っています！

ラジオスレーブは Pocket Wizard II Plus です！

Lighting

For this shot I’m using a simple cross lighting setup, with couple of gridded softboxes! A 80×60 Softbox as a front light on her right side, and a 90×20 Stripbox from the right-back side! The front light is a bit stronger in this case! Both softboxes have a grid, because I wanted to have more concentrated light! My lens is the 135mm F/2 Canon lens, and I’m shooting at open aperture F/2, the ISO in this shot is 200, that was my way to balance the ambient light with the strobe lights! I trigger my strobes with the Pocket Wizard II Plus!

ライティングの説明です、とてもシンプルなクロスライティングセッティングです！前のライトは80ｘ60のグリッド付ソフトボックス、そして、後ろ右から90ｘ20のグリッド付ソフトボックスです！前のソフトボックスは後ろのより1段ぐらい強いです！グリッドを使って、光を集中したかったです！使用レンズはＣａｎｏｎの135mm F/2レンズで、開放で撮影しています！感度はISO-200で、それで自然光とストロボのバランスしています！ラジオスレーブはPocket Wizard II Plus です！
