RoundFlash™ Ring & Dish

RoundFlash – RingLight & SoftBox is a really cool modifier, I’ve been using as a main light quite a lot for my recent photoshoots! It’s very handy easy to setup, and has really beautiful light especially for closeups! I also use it just as a softbox when I’m outside! Well, I have a few videos and a lot of shots taken with it, check them out below!

Some things to mention about it!

• Many people would use it as ring flash directly from the camera, well I’ve never done that! For me it is like a softbox and used as off camera flash!
• The closer you are to your model the more pleasing the light is, and if you get really close, you can have those beautiful catchlights!
• Don’t worry that it’s light might be not even for the whole surface, it is! Unfortunately you might lose 3 or more stops but it is worth with that cool light!
  
• It is so quick to set up, well check out the video! Just one move, and ready to shoot! I am lazy to deal with bowen mounts etc… lol

In the end I’d like to say something that I’ve been keeping in mind for around 5 years strobing! I started, been shooting only with a shoot-through umbrella for 6 months before I got a softbox! Use it until you got all the things possible with it! One of the things I like is, “Never get a new light modifier until you don’t master the ones you have!” Enjoy using your umbrellas! Been using the round flash for some time now constantly, and the more I do the more I feel comfortable with it!

RoundFlash – RingLight & SoftBox はソフトボックスとして使うことがよくあります！非常に撤収が早くで、運びやすいので、ロケでは不可欠です！そして、光が綺麗で、特にヘアメイク作品などではよく使っています！先ほど言ったとおりに、リングライトみたいに、カメラにつけるんじゃなくて、完全にオフカメラ、ソフトボックスの感覚で使ってますね！ラウンドフラッシュを使った写真&メイキング動画いっぱいあるので、この記事で見れますよ！

ラウンドフラッシュのいくつかの特徴:

• カメラにつけるんじゃなくて、先ほど言ったとおりに、ソフトボックスとして使うと面白い結果になります！ 
• 被写体に近ければ近いほど、ラウンドフラッシュの特徴が出ます！光がきれいになります！そして、キャッチライトもすごく綺麗です！
• ラウンドフラッシュの中で光がちゃんと回ってるので安心してください！ただ、3～4段ぐらい光が落ちるので、気を付けてください！
  
• 設定がすごく早い！
